By accessing this website, becoming a member and or placing an order you agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions. Boozedirect.com.au reserves the right to change these terms and conditions at any time and to notify you by posting them here.

  1. Order

All orders are processed and distributed by independent liquor stores. An agreement exists between you and Boozedirect and independent liquor stores. Boozedirect has no obligation to sell or supply the goods. Independent liquor stores have absolute discretion and may or may not accept orders.   In accordance with the Liquor Licensing Act 1997, section 110(1a), it is an offence to sell or supply liquor to a minor under the age of 18 years

  1. Prices and Payment

2.1. All prices on this website are in Australian dollars and include GST. (Goods and Services Tax)

2.2. At the conclusion of the each transaction, full payment from the Buyer is required to be paid to the nominated independent liquor stores PayPal account which includes the Buyer’s premium of 10% of the total sale price within 24 hours. Orders will not be processed until full payment has been received. Boozedirect receives a 10% commission from Buyer’s premium.

2.3. We accept payment from PayPal who provides access to payment options including Visa, MasterCard, Diners Club, and American Express

2.4. Credit card details are not processed are not stored by Boozedirect.com.au

2.5. PayPal payment transfers you to PayPal’s site for processing, you are able to return to Boozedirect.com.au after you have processed payment.

2.6. We reserve the right to cease special offers or change prices at any time without notice.

4.1. Boozedirect.com.au shall take all reasonable steps to ensure the security of your personal information.  Please refer to our Privacy Policy for further information on how Boozedirect.com.au has endeavored to ensure the security of personal information.

4.2. Boozedirect.com.au is not liable for any loss of confidentiality or for any damages arising from your failure to comply with security measures.

4.3. Boozedirect.com.au in no way guarantees the accuracy of information on external sites which can be accessed from links on this website. External links are provided for your convenience only.

4.4. It is the responsibility of members of our site to protect their log-in details from being disclosed to any third party.

  1. Delivery Policy

5.1. Independent liquor stores deliver to the address specified in the delivery instructions, Australia wide using Australia post or selected Australia Couriers.

5.2. Please ensure someone is present at the delivery address to sign for the goods, if not, a card will be left directing you to your nearest pick up location which will hold the parcel for you in accordance with Australian post or selected  Australian Couriers rules and regulations.

5.3. Anyone at the delivery address who receives the goods shall be presumed authorised to receive the goods on your behalf. We request that the person who receives the goods at the delivery address provides satisfactory evidence of proof of age.  We will refuse to deliver the goods if the person receiving the goods is unable or unwilling to provide evidence of proof of age.  Any goods will not be delivered to persons under the age of 18 years old or who fail to provide proof of age satisfactory that the person is aged 18 years or over. We reserve the right to not provide refunds in the event of failure to provide satisfactory ID.

5.6 Delivery of goods will not be delivered on Good Friday, Boxing Day & Christmas Day. An alternative delivery date must be organized with independent liquor stores.

5.6 We deliver anywhere in Australia, except for areas that are classified by the Australian Government as dry zones or Australian Islands that are classified as in International Waters.

5.7 Alcohol and Dry Area restrictions for Queensland. Delivery of freight into the areas specified is restricted and will not delivered to the following postcodes;

Trading Hours

In accordance with the South Australian Liquor Licensing legislation Boozedirect.com.au operates between 10am and 9pm Monday to Friday. Except Good Friday, Boxing Day & Christmas Day. Boozedirect.com.au is not responsible to deliver the goods, however Independent liquor stores are responsible within accordance with the Australian Liquor Licensing legislation.

  1. Returns

If you are not satisfied with the quality or condition of the goods you receive please contact us by email: info@boozedirect.com.au  if you are unable to resolve the issue with the independent liquor store.

If there is no issue with the quality and condition of goods and you simply wish to return the item for a refund please, conduct the independent liquor store you purchased the goods from.

  1. Limitation of Liability

Boozedirect.com.au warrants that the items supplied are satisfactory quality and fit for their general purpose. However, you acknowledge and agree that all implied conditions and warranties on the part of Boozedirect.com.au in relation to any ordered goods supplied by Boozedirect.com.au are excluded to the maximum extent permitted by law. In respect of any liability which Boozedirect.com.au excludes, Boozedirect.com.au liability is limited, at its option, to the replacement or re-supply of the ordered goods, or a refund of the cost of the ordered goods.

  1. Risk and Title

Risk and title in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery of the goods to the delivery address.

  1. Out of Stock

Independency Liquor stores will use its best endeavors to ensure that all goods ordered are supplied to you.

  1. Labelling of Goods

Independency Liquor stores aims to include in the product list up to date pictures of all the goods.  At times pictures are for illustrating purposes only and Boozedirect.com.au does not warrant the accuracy of information contained on the product list and recommends that you read the labels on the goods carefully before consuming the goods. This is limited to the independent Liquor stores responsibility.

  1. License and Intellectual Property Rights

12.1. You are licensed to use our website on your computer for your use in purchasing and selling goods from Boozedirect.com.au

12.2. You acknowledge that you are not permitted to make any other use of the Boozedirect.co.au website unless given written prior authorisation by Boozedirect.com.au

16.1. Boozedirect.com.au reserves the right at its discretion to close a customer account or Independency Liquor stores or cancel an order if it believes a person has breached these terms and conditions.

16.2. Should Boozedirect.com.au be prevented from carrying out its obligations by events beyond its control, Boozedirect.com.au will be excused from complying with its obligations whilst such events persist, and, at its option may elect to cancel any order without liability and refund the customer for any charges.
