Warm Up Your Evenings with These Decadent Winter Drinks

1. Classic Hot Chocolate

To start off your winter drink repertoire, you can never go wrong with a classic hot chocolate. This indulgent treat is perfect for chilly evenings. To elevate your hot chocolate, choose high-quality dark chocolate, cocoa powder, and whole milk.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups whole milk
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 4 oz dark chocolate (60-70% cocoa)
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1/4 cup sugar (adjust to taste)
  • Pinch of sea salt
  • Whipped cream (for topping)
  • Chocolate shavings (for garnish)

Instructions:

  1. In a saucepan, combine the milk and heavy cream. Heat over medium until steaming.
  2. Add dark chocolate, cocoa powder, sugar, and sea salt. Stir until melted and smooth.
