Palate
The wine is soft and smooth, offering a medium-bodied mouthfeel with excellent balance. The rich dark fruit flavours of blackcurrant, plum, and raspberry are supported by the structure and depth of the Cabernet, while the Shiraz adds an element of juicy, spicy fruit and a touch of warmth. Appearance
A vibrant, deep ruby red with a touch of garnet at the edges, with subtle purple hues, the wine exudes youthfulness and energy in the glass.
Aroma
The nose is an inviting bouquet of fresh blackcurrant and plum, characteristic of Cabernet Sauvignon, interwoven with the rich, spiced aroma of ripe blackberries and dark cherries from the Shiraz. There’s a hint of eucalyptus and mint, adding a touch of freshness, with nuances of mocha and cedar oak giving the wine a layered complexity.
